Webway Gates function by creating a localized breach in the fabric of reality, connecting two distant points within the extradimensional labyrinth known as the Webway. Unlike warp travel, which requires a navigator to steer through the chaotic currents of the immaterium, transit through these gates is instantaneous and safe from daemonic interference, provided the path remains stable.

In practice, operating a gate requires precise psychic alignment or specific technological keys to prevent the connection from collapsing or opening into a void.
